I am having my wages garnished to pay my ex wife's lawyer fees. It is going to take 2 years. Can her lawyer charge me 1500 every 90 days to renew the garnishment? The court order says 9% annual interest? Help I'm desperate

Does the garnishment expire every 90 days?

Usually it runs the length of the award.

I'm having a hard time believing that renewing a writ is that complex. Seems like the templates could be re-used by simply plugging in a few updated figures and dates. What state are you in?

Take her back to family court, have garnishment papers prepared for the entire amount for 2 years that don't need to be "renewed"
