I need help I drive for a trucking company that leases trucks to a company while attempting to turn a corner a car came out of from behind a sign and I seen him at the last second and stopped, I didn't hit him but he swerved and damaged his vehicle the companies insurance didn't cover it so they passed the buck and taking it out of the settlement and my employer is taking it out of my check. Can he legally do this?

If they are taking it out of the settlement, then they don't have to take out of your paycheck.

They took it out the settlement to my boss but my boss is taking it out my check to recoop the loss

They can't take it out of your paycheque, joseph as well, if they already have been paid for the damages from the settlement. Is this a mickey mouse organization or what?
