When does your time stop when you violate parole
I did 2 years on a 4 year sentence.Had 2 years left on parole.14 months into my parole I violated and went back down for 4 months. My discharge date didn't change when I violated since I did more than 50% of my street time. When I was released after going down on my violation,I had a little more than 6 months left till I discharged.I stop reporting when I had 5 months left to discharge. My question is,since I had my street time, does my discharge date change. My discharge date was last week,I need to turn myself in,will I have to still do those last 5 months in jail?

    Hello j:

When you violate, the clock stops tolling... So, I think you'll have to do the 5 months.
