I broke up with my ex-boyfriend in September 2010 and filed a restraining order against him because he pulled a gun on me and left massive bruises on me when he was yanking me around. I gave him a week to get his stuff out of the house while I stayed with my family. He left a lot of stuff behind, most of it garbage and old furniture that I am now responsible for getting rid of. Over this weekend, he had his mother call me and ask if they could come get some of his stuff. I didn't return the phone call and would like to know if I am required by law to keep his stuff for a certain length of time. (I live in Oregon)
