I need help for an ingrown hair on my labia.
Soak it in warm water, it will burst on its own. If it is only an ingrown hair it will go away on it's own. DO NOT TRY AND POP IT, you will only be giving it the ability to introduce infection.
I realize this is really no comfort, but there is really no other safe way than to let it go on its own unless you choose to go to your health care provider.
That is precisely what I thought when that happened to me. Mine was the size of a pea, hard as a rock. I went to the doctor and he told me that is was a bartholin's cyst.
You said it was on your labia, was it labia majora or minora. If it is indeed on your labia majora it could be an ingrown hair. But if it is on your labia minora, where hair doesn't grow it could be a barholins cyst. The bartholins cyst can go away on its own, although intensely painful until it is gone. Or they can rupture, and rupture can cause 1. pain bleeding, 2. infection local and infection widespread, causing fever and chills. Most all of this warrants a trip to your GYN or family physician, it needs to be looked at.
