    Eosinophil count increase:
    Hello,
I am 26 years old female, last year I had increase in the Eosinophil count and severe itching not able to control, doctors gave me some drowsy tables but that did not help me, I went to ayurverdic doctors also . I took their prescribed medicines but nothing helped me. All of a sudden it got reduced and was gone. Since 2 months back again is started developing same kind of itching so I got my blood checked and found that there is an increase in the Eosinophil count. This time doctor has prescribed me allergia120 and asked me to avoid all fried items, non-veg and lemon(for which I noticed, I am allergic). I took tablets for one month but still no use. This itching is unbearable. Once the itching starts there will be boils developed at that area. It looks very odd. Can you please suggest me what could be the real reason behind this?

The eosinophil count could be increased for a number of reasons, a few of which could be: allergies, dermatitis, eczema, and tuberculosis, just to name a few.

You will have to see your doctor for a proper diagnosis. Let him/her know that you want to know what is causing the itching. You don't just want the itching treated.
