    I would like yo know how to adjust the water in the tank of the toilet
    The water doesnot want to go down. I am a women and am just learning.
    If you could help I would appreciate it.

    Ann, take the lid of your commode tank off. You will probably see a long rod with a black floatie ball. On the left side where the rod connects to your fill tube, you should see a screw. Loosen that screw and more water should beging to fill the tank.

    Tightening= a lower water level.
    Loosening= a higher water level.

    If you don't have the ball cock version in your commode tank, please let me know what you have. Hope this helps.

    When you say the water doesn't go down are you talking about in the bowl ot tank? If it is tbe bowl you have a clog if it is in the tank something have gotten under the flapper restricting the water flow going out of the tnk into the bowl
