In july of 2008 i fell at work and broke my heel bone and had surgery 3 days later in aug.2010 i had to have surgery again to have the heel bone fused here it is jan 2011 and find out the bone didn't heal the doctor says i'll have to have surgery again because my body rejected the surgery or i can elect not and live with pain i can't put a lot of pressure on my left foot i'am 62 if i don't have surgery how do they figure disability should i get a lawyer or not i really on have the money

What type of coverage have you had for the last 3.5 years?
Have you returned to work at all since the injury?
Has the doctor declared you totally disabled, partially disabled, or what for all this time?

you should have had an attorney from day one, as soon as you knew you were to have a operation. Workers comp for your state will have values to various issues, based on a full loss, so the percent of loss will average it.

I am unsure what you mean. You really don't have the money? In some states, workers comp. statutes prohibit attorneys from charging you unless approved by the workers comp. board. So that shouldn't be a problem.

If you filed the appropriate accident forms and filed with Worker's Comp, you should be covered. Get an atty right away and explain your case. You have rights if you were injured on the job.

Has all of the medical been paid by worker's comp? Ar you back out on disability and collecting worker's comp now? What are you looking for that you need attorney There are so many variables and unanswered questions.

First stop using all Capital letters, it is the same as SHOUTING and many experts prefer not to read or answer people who do that.

But yes, some attorneys will only take a percentage of the total settlement, the percentage will vary on what they feel the claim could be

Worker's Comp attorneys are only allowed a percentage. They cannot indiscriminately set a fee. The Court decides the amount.
