I just purchased a Canon EOS Rebel XS camera and cannot figure out how to change from the LCD screen to the viewfinder.

Problem with the manual is there is no index.

Does anyone know?

(It's a great camera but I would prefer the viewfinder on occasion.)

When your using the lcd screen is the camera set to "live" mode?

I finally took it back to the camera store and it's a question of certain settings require the screen and others use either LCD or viewfinder.

When you read that I've been run over on the side of the Thruway, attempting to take photographs, notify the Police that I was probably adjusting my new camera.

I can't figure it out but it came with a great strap with Canon in big bold letters and when it's slung round my neck I LOOK very professional (even though at the moment I don't have a clue).

I looked at their website and it didn't have one to download for me to look at. And what I did see didn't look so hot either.

Just be sure to will me the camera and maybe I can figure it out ;)
