Brand new installation - model 23915 42" low profile 5 blace fan

light works correctly

fan is supposed to be 3 speed but only has 2 speeds (high is not as fast as my other Hunter fans) Pull chain switch appears to have 4 positions as follows:

original switch position nothing
pull position 1 nothing
pull position 2 "high" speed
Pull position 3 lower speed
Pull position 4 original position (nothing)
