Old movie about two kids on plane without their parents that crashes in a jungle.
Good job answering pingpongpeg's question. Maybe you can help me. When I was a kid around 1965 I remember seeing an old afternoon movie about two young kids, a boy and a girl no older than 10 who are put on a plane like an old DC-3 or DC-4 without their parents and then the plane runs into a storm and ends up crashing in a jungle and they have to fend for themselves. There is a scene where they confront a tiger and they scare it off somehow. Then in the end somebody, I think their father, is flying over in a small plane and sees something that alerts him to the kids down there and basically crash lands his plane to get to them. Ring any bells?
Comment on Thornberry's post
Thanks Thornberry, that looks like a pretty good movie but Dunst and Brian weren't even twinkles in their daddy's eyes in 1965. Actually I think Quinn's answer of Desperate Search is the right one. I just have to find a copy of it somewhere. Thanks for answering though.
