    OK John asked last year to change his will, he had social workers etc round and said he was of sane mind. Now he has sent a letter to change his will but the solicitor has asked for more medical tests. It seems they are preventing his wish.

    I don't see a problem in the solicitor's request. It is standard procedure and only safeguarding original directions which are to be changed. Solicitor has to make sure he really is of sound mind and only guarding his interests.

    Yes we understand that but if doctors have already said he is of sane mind why does he have to undergo the tests again? It is causing a lot of stress for John also.

    Then you will have to talk to your solicitor and to the doctors and hopefully come to some agreement regarding the will.

    Yeah I think that is prob his best idea. I'm not sure why its proving difficult for him perhaps they have to be sure its all above board and its his wish.
