Hi everyone,

I graduated with an MS in Biological Sciences in December 2009 and started my OPT from January 15, 2010. I am on an OPT STEM extension from January 15, 2011 through June 14, 2012 and am currently working as a Research Technician in a university and the work is directly related to my major area.

I am a Pharmacist in India. USA requires all foreign pharmacists to complete certain tests here and get license here in USA. While doing my MS, I started preparing for these tests and very recently got my license while I am on OPT-extension (17 months). I have a couple of questions:

1. If I get a job as a Pharmacist in a Pharmacy store which is enrolled in e-verify, can I work as a full time Pharmacist during my OPT extension (after quitting this present job) until June 14, 2012?

2. Can I apply for a H-1B visa on April 1, 2011 and begin to work on H-1B starting October 2011?
