New father wants to see his baby
My ex-fiance did not call when our baby was born. I found out one week later. She will not answer calls, texts, e-mails. We live in different states and I need to establish something so I can at least see pictures of our son. Where does a father start in trying to get visitation?

Unfortunately you have to hire a lawyer, caf, and go that route. However, she is the mother, so has a lot of say in this matter and if you can prove you are the bio father then that is a step in the right direction.

You need to start in court,

You file for visits, most likely have to ask for a DNA test to prove paternity You set up chlld support though the courts.

As noted, you have to file a petition for custody/visitation. This petition needs to be filed where the child resides.

The mother will probably counter file for support.
