I got this painting at a thrift/antique shop and I can't read the name of the artist. It is a pretty cool picture of what I think is a clown sitting at a desk maybe a bank teller. Can someone help me identify the artist and the painting.

What a cute painting! The signature is fairly illegible; does the painting have any markings on the back? Did you ask the store where you bought it where it's from? They might still remember it. It looks like it could have been done by someone who was a commercial cartoonist or illustrator, maybe someone who would have provided editorial cartoons.
