Typically is a "working level" Helpdesk technician Exempt or Non-Expemt?
I am curious as the specific factors that are in play for the average "intermediate level" helpdesk person. They meet the salary requirements and do not manage others. Their work consists primarily of identifying and troubleshooting user desktop issues, resolving trouble tickets, making desktop and some system modifications. Generally speaking, what are some conditions that may cause this position to be considered exempt or non-exempt?
