I divorced in July 2009. My ex husband had 18 months to refinance our home & give me half. I had the house appraised at that time. He has dragged it on for the whole 18 months & now the appraisal has expired. He will need to get another appraisal. What if the apprasials are different amounts? Do I get what the house appraised for at the time of the divorce?

How was the court ordered issued, and it is something that you and he will not agree, he will not want to pay you the old amount, so just get your attorney and take him back to court now.

I agree w/ Chuck... but bring in the proof that you did what you were suppose to. See if the lawyer can make him get in trouble someway, where you can get more than half - since he dragged this out so long and you still don't have the money you were suppose to get.
