I am a canadian living in europe. I owe a big sum of money to a canadian bank(credit card) which I am unable to pay now; I am unemployed. I was wondering if the collectors could catch me here in Europe? I won't be back to canada for the next six years, can debt statute of limitaions apply to me?

You can hide, but they can sue you WITHOUT you being there, and your accounts in Europe CAN be seized.
