    Not pregnant - 44 - big belly
I'm 44, not pregnant, and my belly - which I never - ever had is growing larger everyday! Nothing fits... I look pregnant... I'm horrified!

Have you seen a doctor about this?

That would be my next step.

Yes, thought it might be IBS or something related to the lower intestine, not a shot... after $100's of dollars and many tests, NO SUCH LUCK! On to the gynecologist, might be uterine fibroids??

What is your diet and exercise routine like? Do you drink alcohol? Do you live a sedentary lifestyle?

Women our age tend to get a little big around the belly sometimes.

Diet & exercise routine is healthy & very active! I do not drink any alcohol - I am a substance abuse counselor. I do not live a sedentary lifestyle or I would agree with you - that's why I am in shock at this growing situation!! I never - EVER had a belly in my life, even after my kids were born.

Since it is recent, and appears to be progressing, certainly see your gyn for an ultrasound.

It's not recent! It's been about 2 years that I've been pretending it wasn't there while I went through all the gastrointestinal testing. My friends and family are now asking me if I'm pregnant... Ughhhhhhhhh!
