I will taste blood in my mouth after I run or just at random times, anyone know if this is a really bad thing? Im only 13 and I don't know why this happens

Is it really blood (you WILL see it if it is in your mouth) or just that metallic taste you have when you are exhausted during strenuous exercise?

It just taste like blood I know its not blood but I get this taste all the time and I was just woundering if it is a bad thing or not

Blood essentually has the metallic taste I'm describing...

If its at the point where you are winded and your heart is racing... basiclly the point of exhaustion... then its normal. I've had that as well... but only at that point of physical exertion. Not during light exertion.

There actually is a medical explanation for it... but I can't remember what it is.

usually it happens at random times and when my heart isn't racing it'll just happen.

Now for THAT... I would recommend talking to your doctor. Just to be certain. What I just described would not and should not be occurring at random times.

Sometimes its better to be safe than sorry.
