    New Job
In October I was offered a position for at the time I thought was a wonderful opportunity at a mortgage company and of course I still think it is, but now as a couple months go by I'm starting to wonder if I made a bad decision by leaving my old job for my new one. I mainly left it because from my new job I can go further then when I was at my old one and I make WAY more money then I did there. But my new job is not what I want to pursue my career in and I know this might sound weird but even though I wasn't making much at my old job I miss it so much and all the people there and I want to go back really bad but I know I won't make what I'm making here and now that I've been here longer I'm learning newer things and I don't anything about it, should I consider going back to my old job, even though I didn't make as much there as I do here?

I know the feeling but how sure are you that your old employer would even hire you back? Once you quit a job most employers will not consider rehiring, you already decided to leave once so chances are you will again. Just saying. The job you are in right now is just that, a job, it does not mean its your permanent career. Keep your sights high and watch for even better jobs down the road but stay in a job for at least 3-5 years so you won't be looked at as a job jumper

No... because they will never look at you the same way at your old job since you jumped ship on them once already... even IF they took you back. And there is no guarantee they will.

No I know they will, the manager is like second family I see him all the time I still even visit them on weekends at my old job and come eat lunch with them I know they will I just don't know if that would be the right choice because either way I'm not going to stay at either of those jobs but this one I'm at now is more beneficial than the other.

Managers do not always have the power to hire and fire, does yours? " im not going to stay at either of those jobs but this one im at now is more beneficial than the other. " this confirms that you may be seen as a job jumper by future employers. Is this the message you want to go out
