33 weeks pregnant is this normal?
Hi I am 33, this is my 2nd pregnancy. It has been 13yrs since my last, and for the past 2-3 weeks my stomach gets really hard where the baby is. I thought it was braxton hix but it happens a lot (gets so hard it wakes me up) and is freaking me out-help! Is this normal?

It could still be braxton hicks, but it sounds as though it might simply be baby. Sometimes you will feel your stomach get very hard when baby pushes out with their back or bottom.

If your stomach is hard in one area, but soft in others, it is likely baby. If it is hard all over, it may be a braxton hicks contraction.

Certainly, since it causes you concern, ask your doctor or midwife about it either the next time you go in or give them a phone call.
