Collecting unemployment in two different states?
If you are uemployed and collecting unemployment from one state and you are also eligible for unemployment from another state, can you collect from both states?

    Hello m:

In order to collect, you have to promise that you've been looking for work... You're not going to be able to do that.

No, and yes, you do in fact use the previous state. When you file they go back to all of your employment, not just your last one.

Next you also can not, collect both, since you can only file for the LAST job, not a prevoius job,

Example, you lived in GA and moved to FL, you are laid off in FL, they will look back and use the records from GA to build up enough quarters in your current state.
