Hot water tank pilot will light.
The landlord has put in a new valve now the problem is even worse, kind of scary cause if the pilot is lite, will wake up in the morning to no hot water due to pilot going out.now when it is time for the flame to do its job to heat the water, the flame will remain blue only for a while then it will turn into an actual fire and then kick off. Can also remain blue but then it will actually kick off, of course you can hear the water dripping when heating but it is almost like the water is trying to put the flame out
