My refrigerator bulb blew out and a new one was installed but it doesn't work. What do I do to correct this problem?

1. Test new bulb and make sure it works

2. make sure part of old bulb did not remain in socket.

3. Use a voltage meter to check the socket and/or wires going to socket.

We are having the same problem. Any resolve?

Either unplug the frig, or use a plastic tool, to reach inside the socket to pry up the center contact of the lamp socket just a fraction of an inch. This contact is live, so extreme caution is needed. The contact gets pushed down by the lamp before, and sometimes does not reach the bottom contact of the new lamp.

Do not pry up too much, as this may break off if bent too much.
