I received a court package and they want me to answer a SUMMONS first stage for a foreclusure that file againts me , I can't pay anything to an attorney now, how you can help to write this letter answer to court?

As with any other civil case, an "answer" is done by briefly stating whether you admit or deny each paragraph of the complaint, pleading any affirmative defenses you may have, and stating what you want the court to do. Google the "civil rules of procedure" for your state. Or your clerk-of-court may have fill-in-the-blank answer forms.

If you are in default of your mortgage, it may be that you have no valid defense. So filing an answer, rather than letting yourself be defaulted ("Default" in the "fail to answer" court case sense, rather than the "unable to make the mortgage payments" sense), may just delay the inevitable.

Since almost all of the Board Directors of the Company live abroad, we have so far not being able to gather the necessary documents along with the Board resolutions and their signatures, the Company would like to request an extension, prefebley 10 days, to complete the task and issue the form.
