Hi! My doctor has had me go 2 times in the last 7 days to have a 1 hour glucose tolerance test done. They didn't tell me the results of the first test and I'm concerned about why I would need to have it done again so soon or at all. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to what my OB/GYN might be thinking? Thanks!

Did you already go for the second test? If not... are you sure the second test was for the one hour? They either want to confirm the results they had with the first one (the most likely reason)... as you may have been boarder line, the lab messed up the test in some way, or the test may actually be the three hour glucose tolerance test.
