I just found out my dog has dibities from the vet yesterday, she is also going blind. The vet gave us hills prescription diet w/d dog food for her whitch was 21.00$ a small bag. However she will not eat it and has not eaten since yesterday. The vet told us not to give her anything els. What do i do?

Call your vet and let him/her know that your dog is not eating the food that was prescribed and ask what you should do now.

I'm surprised that the vet didn't recommend mixing this new food in with her old and slowly weaning her from the old food. Dogs can't handle sudden changes in diet. It's always best to slowly introduce a new food, but the vet knows best, so call and find out what to do next.
