On "level" ground my tractor goes in reverse fine but slow. If there is any hill it goes very slow and usually not at all. Can this be adjusted for? There is no problem in foreword.

Never heard of a lt 177
But on a lt 170
You can adjusted forward and reverse with # 18 & 19
