I recently rented a single story home. I have hot water in all the bathrooms but not in the kitchen sink or dishwasher. The faucet has two handles and good pressure just no hot water. Water lines are in the slab. Homeowners are trying to get plumber out but I was wondering if it could be a quick fix. Could it be the diverter on a two handle faucet? Help please.

Sounds more like a clogged or frozen pipe if both the dishwasher and sink are not giving hot water. How cold was it when you first noticed the issue. If you are renting and have reported the problem be cautious about trying any fix on your own, you would be liable for any accidental damages
