Late-70s / Early-80s horror/sci-fi movie -- can you identify?
I think this is going to be a tough one. It's a movie I saw on TV long ago when I was little.
A family is trapped in their house. The house is enclosed in an impenetrable blue wall. They try to break through the wall by various means. One attempt involves going into the garage and trying to drive a car through the wall; this fails.
Meanwhile, weird things start happening inside the house. A weird symbol starts appearing on household objects. It's a lightning bolt symbol -- it appears on TV and on canned food, among other things. The wife (I think) refers to this symbol as "station identification," and she implies some link between the symbol and the blue wall.
Seems like this would be enough detail to identify this movie if anyone's seen it. Thanks!
