My boyfriend and I are trying to get pregnant. I stopped my birth control pills after 2 years on Wed of last week. We had unprotected intercourse on Thurs and Sunday. On Monday I started noticing I had light brown spotting that night. This morning I noticed I still had the same thing on and off sometimes itd be heavy at times and red. My legs and lower back have also been aching. Ive been cramping mostly today. And have been using the bathroom often. I be pregnant? Or my period is off schedule and came on sice I just stopped?

It is more likely that the bleeding is due to stopping the pill. It can take sometime for your body to adjust to the change in hormones. Odds of becoming pregnant within days of stopping the pill would be low.

If you had become pregnant from sex on Thursday or Sunday, you wouldn't yet notice because it takes several days before implantation would be complete.
