    I have an itin since 2003 and have not used it I got married last year and my husband wants to file taxes jointly can this be done?? I am just scared that he will have to pay back money for me because I have never filed taxes.

    Most married couples file jointly, he would not owe for years you may owe taxes prior to being married, did you work for someone and just not pay, or were your earnings so low you did not need to file.

    Call the ITIN Processing Center at 1-800-908-9982, identify yourself and ask if the ITIN issued to you is still good. They should be able to tell you.
