    Anger and disappointment coping
My boyfriend of two years is lazy in all aspects of his life including our relationship. The only thing he ever wakes up for is to hang out with his friends via oovoo. Its not that I expected the vigor of the first few months to last forever, but I didn't expect him to ignore my needs this much. I need to learn how to cope with disappointment without anger. I have a terrible temper. They say that you can't have expectations but I do (and their pretty basic like for him to actually show up to our dates). I have taken to just giving up whenever he disappoints me and trying not to expect anything from him. Im not asking whether I should stay or go, but I just want to know if anyone has tips for how to deal with this without feeling like I'm not worth anything because of the way he treats me or getting mad and thereby hurting myself even more.

If he is missing dates then you have every right to feel the way you do. Have you seen his "friends" on the video chat? Is it possible its something he is addicted to?

He's not addicted and I know these people. Its just that he thinks of us as so close that he doesn't have to put any effort into impressing me which leads him to think that even sub-par behavior is enough.

Why are you putting up with this and sticking around? I would have been history by now.
