    Connecting two independent water heaters
I have two 50 gallon electric GE model SE50T12AAG water heaters located in different parts of my home. One provides water for the back bedrooms, the other for the kitchen etc. They are separate and not connected in any way. How can I connect the two water heaters so that I will be able to have 100 gallons of hot water at one time. Thanks

There are two ways to hook up two water heaters, series and parallel. In series you use heater #1 as the primary heater and heater #2 for storage and heat maintenance. You want to hook the heaters in parallel. That way both heaters work together and your volume increases to 100 gallons. Good luck, Tom
