I have a 8 month old Maltese we are giving him the food he always eat's and dosen't wan't to eat he won't he will eat food on the fllor like crumbs or treats(Beggin Strips) but not his food can someone Help.Thanks

Maybe it's time to change food. It could be that he's just bored of it. Heck, we all like a change once in a while. ;)

If you do decide to change food than make sure you do it slowly, otherwise it will upset his stomach. Mix the old food in with the new, and decrease the old food bit by bit until it's just the new food.

Cut out the treats. If you got chocolate whenever you refused to eat your green beans, you'd refuse the green beans too. Trust me, when he's hungry he'll eat what's in front of him.

If he's not eating any of the food you give him, and he's dropping weight than you really need to see the vet.
