Broke thermostat radiant floor water heat
Hvac1000, I busted the thermostat on the wall insice my new apartment when I dropped a picture I was hanging. I believe the thermostat was not the point of control fro the heat. I remember the landlord showing me the point of control on another device connected to the water heater and pump in the garage. I believe though that since I smashed the device on the wall my apartment has been getting colder. What is the deal with radiant heat systems. Do I need to replace that thermostat for the system to work. Can I just pull it off the wall and close the circuit to turn the system back on. If I replace the device do I need to use the identical thing to replace it with.
