Are you on the mortgage? If you bought the house as co-owners, then yes you are required to pay as it is your debt. If the mortgage is in her name and you were simply paying half, then probably no. It will depend on what you said to her in buying the house. A little more info please.

You might to have this posted in the law section. I am NO expert but when I was going through my divorce I was responsible for 1/2 of mortgage due to my name was on it. I was given the house when divorce was finalized, but to have his name removed. They did charge me to have loan re-done.
