Is this legal or a labor violation?
My son in law works for a family business owned by someone else. There are only 2 employees drawing salaries from this company and neither of them are getting paid half the time. He is listed as an officer of this company, so they do not pay unemployment insurance for him, and he can't file for unemployment because they are not paying this. He works regular work hours and sometimes does not even get paid,they stopped paying for his insurance because it was too high and there were only the 2 of them . This is a business that has been in the family a long time and every time we tell him to go somewhere else, he says he would like to see the business get back to what it was. Is this legal?
