Go to a place you'd think of working in and ask if there's any openings; perhaps in a pub as a waitress or pot wash (if you're from the UK), a paper round, any restaurant being a waitress or pot wash. If its something like walking dogs then put up flyers or hand them out around your neighborhood.. you could even go into a nursery/pre-school (or anywhere as a matter of fact) and ask to do volunteer work for a few weeks and then maybe ask them if you could have a part-time job? Good luck
Thank u ramona! I will try that ( when I'm fifteen ) :)
Call better business bureau in your town and ask how to get a work permit. Ask what kinds of jobs a 15 yr. old is "allowed" to do. Are you male or female? What climate?
Basically the same way anyone gets a job. First, you have to check local child labor laws. Some areas require minors getting working papers. Your school guidance counselor can help you with that.
Next you pound the pavement going to businesses that traditionally hire teenagers for part time work. Fast Food restaurants and retail stores are generally where most of the jobs for teens are.
