I hired a realtor and he has been no help to me what so ever I can't get a hold of him and when I ask about a property he tells me its not for me.
This has been going on for 5 months , finally I looked at the paper work and it reads that I have to use this guy for up to 12 months. Is there anyway of getting out of this contract

What does it say in the contract about his responsibilities to you? Have you talked to your state Realtor Board and presented your situation? Why does this realtor tell you that the property you enquire about is not for you? If you have not done so, please start documenting your phone calls, your conservations, his replies, etc. I know that their contracts are pretty much set in stone but there is no harm in researching this. I know when my (now ex) husband and I sold our house, we had to pay the commission fee, even though the person who bought our house was a woman we knew from church and she never talked to the realtor. It was a straight cash deal.

    Good luck.

You should speak to the Realtor's Employing Broker for assistance. If the Realtor is the Employing Broker , contact your State Department of Regulations. You do have options.
