I bought a 1979 dodge ram truck after I had gotten out of the hospital having my whole colin removed, then I went back into the hospital he titled plated and insured it in his name only, when I got back out of the hospital he had a new girlfriend and had my stuff packed, he has all paperwork for a pellet burner I bought he has my labtop I bought I have the receipt for the labtop but not for the truck or pellet burner, but I do have the title to the truck in my name.when he called the cops and told them I stole the title the cops told me I had no grounds to take the truck they would investigate it, its been 6 months! What am I suppose to do how do I get my stuff back, even though he admitted that I paid for everything and it was a gift for living in his house??

you figure the value and sue him,

why did you not call the cops, he can not change the title unless he forged your name on the title. So he could not register and title the truck in his name, if the title is in your name. ** or was the title in your and his name.

If the title is really in your name, go get the truck, middle of the night, go and get it, and take it home.

but you sue for the value of all of your property, and only settle if he gives it all back

So you have a title? It is in your name ? You register it in in your name at the DMV with the titile, and it is your truck, you go get it, without telling him and take it home.
