The faucet leaks after you turn the water off. The water comes not from the handle but from under the faucet body. Water comes from between the sink and the faucet.

    Hi Greg...

Delta sells an O-ring kit for your faucet. Here, the Orings under the valve body have worn down/stretched out... something like that.

Purchase an Oring kit/seals kit (available at home depot or lowes) and if the faucet has a few years on it you may also want to purchase a the cup washers and springs kit, too. While at the store purchase some plumber's silicone grease and be sure to lube up the valve body and the orings for best result, OK?

If the valve is older than 10 years then I would replace it with a new MOEN faucet... ;)
