Was you issued one already? They aren't handing them out to just anyone.

Are you asking how to APPLY for a number or do you have a number and you've misplaced it?

(I have asked that this be combined with your other thread.)

THen on what grounds do you think you should be awarded one?

Because its NOT an entitlement to non-citizens of the EU.

Basically you can't just go in apply for it and get one without any specific reason.

Why can't they do it if it's a real job offer? Or was this job offer based on an Email. There are a lot of that scam going around right now. Just be cerrtain you have a real job. Most employers do NOT offer jobs purely via email.

Irelands not a big place... and under EU laws, its very difficult to be granted legal status and a right to work in any part of it.

Let me guess... they wanted money in exchange for something?

I know because I acually do have the right to reside and work there, and have for several decades. They have clamped down in recent years making it more difficult.

And in other words, they AREN'T giving numbers and legal work status to anyone and everyone that applies for one. There is a lot more invlolved, and the employer has a large part in the process.

This Workforce Number is free of charge and is accessible to anyone, even if this person is not from the EU. Read more legal papers :))

It gets old having a dozen people a day thinking they can just walk into the EU without work Visas or other legal papers and think they can have a job just for the asking.
