Can you take prescription meds on probation?
I have Adhd, bi-polor disorder, serious anxiety, panic attacks, and severe depression. I may posibly be on probation for a good bit of time... maybe years. Will I be allowed to take my medications while on probation if I am convicted of a drug offense?

If permitted by the terms of your probation, yes. Other people have posted that they took prescription drugs without permission and were violated.

The drug will need to be prescribed by your doctor, and the Probation department will need to be made aware of it.
They can of course investigate and review records to see if you truly need them.

But even inmates in jails and prisons are allowed to take doctor ordered medication that are approved by the facility

    Hello K:

You'll get permission to take drugs that keep you sane. But, they'll nix the ones that get you high.
