Water at the cut offs under the sink. Opening the sink faucet (hot or cold) produces nothing. Previously, it would run for 5 seconds then stop.

First step here is to remove the aerator and run the water... any impovement?

If there is no improvement then you'll have to tell me more about the faucet, OK? Is this a single or two handle faucet? Is there a pull-out spray or a regular spray at the side... or even no spray? Also, what name brand faucet? Please answer all questions.

I suspect the spray diverter may be an issue but need you to answer the questions above.
