    Animal population & preys
Hello everyone, I have a question on my biology homework that I can`t find the answer too. If any of you, can please help me with it, I would really appreciate it.

    Here`s the question:

If an entire lynx population disappears, what is likely to happen to the hare population on which it preys?

Thank you so much. XO. <3

The thing about homework help is if we give you a direct answer, it negates the main reason for giving homework. Independent study and learning to find /research things on your own.
If you write up what your research has lead you to think will happen people would be glad to help you correct it but your asking us to do your homework for you.

Obviosly the population of hare will increase tremendously... and this would have an effect on the food chain and its balance...
