    Child support payments
My son just turned 18, he happens to still be in high school. Can I stop child support payments? If so how do I go about it. I'm in the state of Florida.

What does the support order say? Generally, you pay support until they are out of high school. Are payments being collected by a state agency?

Agreed, it will depend on the exact wording of the support agreement. But normally you will still pay till he is out of school

If you owe back child support you have to pay it all off or you will get in trouble. I am 23 and my dad is still paying my mom because he never paid when I was younger. He just got jobs that paid under the table. But now he is still paying. But if you don't owe back child support then you shouldn't still be paying he is a adult now.
