    Scary Stranger Email
Ok so I was reading my emails and what not. And then this stranger starts getting on my chat thingy. And I say hello and what not and then they start asking me if I ever watched porn and if I would like to see some gay male porn. I started to get a little scrared and then they told me that they like me and I told them that they don't even know me. Then they started saying that they could masturbate in front of me on cam. I was like I can't believe they are saying this to me. They new I was 13 and they said they were 15 and that it was just a 2 year age difference. And then they started calling me babe and what not. They kept trying to tell me to watch gay male porn. I told them I was no going to watch it no matter what they said. They also said that they would do anything I wanted them to do on cam. I think he looked me up or something I don't know. But what should I do? Ive never had this happen before. Thanks!

You can and should block them from your chat and report them.
They can also be blocked from your e-mail.

At the very least you should stop responding, block him, and tell your parents about this.

This person is most likely not 15, but probably an adult that likes to prey on young girls.

Stay safe. The internet is a scary place, and there are so many people out there looking to prey on anyone they can find.

Take note of the address it is coming from and tell your parents. Let them take care of this.
    This may be an adult.
Don't spend any more time chatting.

You might even consider bringing this to the attention of the police.
These can be very serious matters and not to be taken lightly.

Thank you so much and I will tell my parents and if he try's it again I will block him. And it was really scary when he started talking about masturbating in front of me and all that. And he sounded for real. He is a very sick person. But thanks Altenweg and you made me feel so much better.:)

It is scary. What's even more scary is that there are thousands and thousands of other guys out there just like him. Some of them are teens, most of them are just predators looking for a young innocent to fall for their lines so that they can get their fix, which sadly is young girls or boys.

You did the right thing. You stopped talking to him, you didn't engage in any of the things he wanted you to, and you asked if this was wrong. Now you just have to tell your mom and dad and let them handle this. They're the parents for a reason. :)

Thanks Altenweg. You are so amazing. And I did tell them. I was kind of scared at first but I told them. They blocked him for me. And yeah it is very scary to have something like that happen to you at an early age. I will be extra careful. But thanks and has something like this ever happened to you?

There was no internet when I was a teen (Now I feel really old). Predators had to do things the old fashioned way back then. Doesn't mean they didn't exist, they just had less options. Now, with the internet, a whole new victim base has opened up for them.
