    Statistic Questions
    1. (3 points)
    For a standard normal distribution (m = 0, σ = 1) find the probabilities:

    a. z falling between -1.96 and +1.96
    b. z falling above 1.64
    c. Falling below -1.96
    d. Falling above -1.96

    2. (2 points)
The four general type of research design are secondary, experiment, observation and survey. Give one advantage and disadvantage of each.

    3. (3 points)
What are the four “levels of measurement”? Give an example of each explaining why the example fits the definition.

    4. (2 points)
You have been awarded a grant to study “The effects of early intervention on reading ability of elementary school children struggling with reading.”

Using at least three of the “descriptors of research design” describe how you would design the study.

(Two or three paragraphs will be sufficient --- this could be a 35 page report!)

I don't know whether the rest concern pure maths but you should at least try the first question. You don't even have to convert the values given into the z-scores, but apply them directly and look up the probabilities, and add/subtract depending on the situation. Post what you get! :)
